On October 8 and 9, Rhizome presented Vibe Shift—a two-part event featuring a hackathon and showcase at ZeroSpace (
@zerospace ) in partnership with Anthropic (
@claudeai ), and the Onassis ONX (
@onassis.onx ), NEW INC (
@newinc ) &
@newmuseum communities. This event sought to explore the creative practice of Vibe Coding, or the practice of using plain language to prompt LLMs like Claude to create executable computer code.
We’re so grateful to everyone that came out to this event—from hackathon participants using Claude for the first time, to the veteran vibe coders, to those who clapped for their favorite projects at the vibe code battle.
