Real-time works — generated live through the artist’s bespoke generative system, in which audio and visual form respond to one another continuously. The work is emergent; the video a render of that live event — a document of process, of system and human performer in concert.

“Between Flesh and Machine: Attraction, Fear, and Desire”
This art talk examines how biomechanical and machinic aesthetics—seen in works such as H. R. Giger and Ghost in the Shell—are used to articulate life, violence, and eroticism. Such expressions are sometimes read merely as dark or horror-driven imagery, yet they can also operate as critical frameworks that challenge our assumptions about the human body, identity, and existence.
Together with participants, we will explore why these hybrid visual languages hold such enduring psychological and philosophical appeal, tracing the development and trajectory of artist Mike’s work.
