【 Secret Express 秘密通道 】 Land of Unknowing Sceneries 秘境 (Work 1/2) 💠 Slowly rises to the same level as Ukai Station’s platform, a bridge of mystery holds the two platforms of opposing direction united into a newborn forbidden pathway. The bridge is dressed in a cloak which draws nearby sceneries into the pigment under its skin, disguising itself into the environment. Silver obscured reflections and empty gaps of identical sized shards are ordered to shape the passage into a triangular tube, glimmering treasures along a good traveller’s journey can be glimpsed through the gaps of the cloak. When ones’ determination overcomes the risk of unknowing, map of hidden sceneries at the end would whisper to remind travellers of their choices. After the bridge’s true side is unveiled, triangles of reflections arrayed into a hidden pathway who welcomes and resonate the green tunnels escorting one towards the secrets within the woods. Fragments and specimens of scenery collected during expeditions around Ukai Station are assembled here, into a place where forgotten sediments are gradually gathered and repaired. 【 Disintegration 瓦解 】 Dolomites, Italy 🛖 ​​Farmers cultivate land to reside upon fields in the Dolomites. They live with nature through an equilibrium of existence without overhauling natural resources. Alpine huts and farmsteads are therefore evidence of human’s way of survival within the arduous condition of the Alpine. If the creator made seeds that sprout into flora across the land, farmers planted artefacts of huts dispersing along the meadow. These huts encapsulate memories and stories that slowly constitute people's impression of Armentara. When the hut germinates, it sprouts into fragments and pieces of architectural components. The sprouting looks nowhere like the blossoming of flowers, resembling an explosion that prophesies the consequences when the balance is broken. 生活在多洛米蒂草原的人群, 細心照料腳下賜予她們農作物的土壤. 農民與自然的關係隨時間達至一種互相尊重的平衡, 並存在同一環境裡. 山上的小木屋證明了人可以與山脈和諧相處, 克服極端氣候的劣勢. 造物者創造的種子萌芽成盛開的植物, 農民則在山上的原野栽種出散落各地的木屋們. 這些聚落保留了住在這裡的人民和曾經到訪的過客的故事和歷史, 烙印在這些建構物中. 當這些木屋子被過度發展到下個狀態時, 身體的澎漲使其組成的部分分裂出來好像屋子的大門框, 木柱堆疊而成的牆身, 茅草屋頂等等. 這個情形下的小木屋看起來跟盛開的花朵完全毫無相似, 反而預示著當人類耗盡大地時帶來的後果. [展覽策劃 - 在地製造Maker Fest] 23.8 - 7.9 透過三個月的時間觀察，我們收集了近十位年輕人對於香港仔的想法。從觀察社區的生活日常開始重新了解香港仔現在的社區紋理，再尋找水上人痕跡，了解承傳至今的漁民日常。 隨著年輕人們不斷深入調查，發現香港仔社區有我們想像不到的一面，這裡的海和城市緊密相連不可劃分，我們期望展示這個社區被忽略的日常，讓每個人重新想像香港仔。 1. 碎影印象 Fragmented impressions 香港仔老舖觀察。老店字體是構成社區獨特的一道日常風景。然而近年變化不斷，舊樓重建，許多老店結業，失去往年風采。我們邀請到從小居住在香港仔的孔版油印工作室the memory machine @thememmac ，透過孔版油印（risograph）的形式重新帶大家留意這道常常被忽略的社區風景。 地點：

香港仔海濱公園表演台 3. 水上人？香港人？ 說起香港仔，想必不能脫離水上文化，這個社區有一半以上的居民以前從事水上作業，不過現今漁業減少，香港仔似乎逐漸淡忘水上人痕跡。一共收集了六位年輕人對於水上人文化和香港仔社區的了解。由天光墟的供應和選擇，到餐廳的海鮮加工，甚至訪問水上人的在地家常食譜，以重現水上人在香港仔社區保留的特色。 地點： 香港仔魚類批發市場街渡碼頭 Client: 蒲窩 @warehouseteenageclub

This sense of attachment transforms the ephemeral idea of home into a tangible shape, turning the state of being into a state of having. In catastrophic events like earthquakes or tsunamis, the physical manifestation of our homes — And the emotions and memories they harbour — Becomes fragile. Everything we’ve built our lives around can be destroyed in an instant, leaving behind ruinations. According to Erich Fromm’s statement, after such an impact, the shattered remnants of a house lose their value in terms of having. The deeper question then arises: Can any being — The intangible essence of value — Survive within the ruins, despite the degree of destruction? Casa Destruct explores the notion, replicating the aftermath of a home belonging to anonymous hosts, left in ruins after an unknown catastrophe. The remains, Casa Destruct, provoke us to reflect on life in this simulated state of destruction.
