SAKA Museum: Architecture in the Forest — A Living Harmony
The SAKA Museum stands in harmony with Bali’s tropical forest within AYANA Resort, home to the iconic Rock Bar.
Designed to blend with nature, its structure honors Indonesian architectural heritage while offering a sensory experience that connects art, air, and earth.
Recognized by TIME magazine as one of the “Greatest Places 2024,” this design celebrates timeless coexistence.

After a year-long preparation and two months of hiccups, the Central Magistracy is finally open to the public.
An inherently beautiful site that doesn’t need much but humble additions. Cannot wait till the family of spaces is completed in, probably, another 4 years.

Traveling with two kids is only for the strong (call us 苦行曾家). We very much prefer walking (20k+ steps per day) to taking car/underground ride. I don’t know how we were able to make it but they had been loving it.
Japan is good. Thank you Japan🫶
Finally completed and open to public today after 2 years of preparation and hard work at Tai Kwun B Hall and D Hall.
First encountered this space during my 1st year undergraduate helping a slight bit for the 1st Hong Kong architecture biennale 15 years ago in one of the cells for a site-specific installation.
After all these years, honoured to finally insert some creations into the space.
Please visit in person to see what we actually created.
