Day 3: 🌍 Cambodia service trip 🇰🇭 4A Cheung Ching Shu “Today was eye-opening as we volunteered at a restaurant serving the poor. I expected indoors but faced exhausting heat while washing vegetables and preparing meals. Despite my lack of cooking skills, I realized that the heart for service matters most. Playing with the children, we connected beyond language. Witnessing their joy amidst poverty was humbling, especially when I felt guilty for my own privileges. A child’s injury highlighted the harsh realities they face. Meeting ZanZan, who shared God’s plan, deeply touched me. I learned that true happiness comes from connection and care, not material possessions. 🌍 Day 2: Cambodia Service Trip 🇰🇭 4A Hollie Wong “Attending a Chinese church service was a profound experience. Unlike my usual youth services, it felt more serious and focused. I gained deeper insights into Jesus, especially regarding the Great Commission. This reflection sparked new thoughts about faith and worship, challenging my previous understanding. Grateful for this enlightening experience! ✨🙏” 4C Ong Hiu Tung “Hello! 👋 I just completed my second day in Cambodia, filled with church life, serving at Phon Rung Community Centre, and visiting local families. Playing games with the enthusiastic local children and hearing stories of two Hong Kongers who moved here for their faith stood out to me. I noticed how they cherish even simple gifts, unlike in Hong Kong where we might appreciate but easily forget. Their warmth and appreciation inspired me to adopt a more grateful mindset. 公益少年團，今天到訪元朗大樹下唯珍牽流浪動物中心，見番我們親愛的丁丁、婆婆、哥哥，感恩他們仍然健康活潑，見到狗、見到貓、見到雀（了哥唐老鴨）。同學們盡力鏟屎，清潔，發揮我們義工服務的精神。 我們亦將開放日籌得的$2000款項全數交給維珍牽負責人Regina。
