At this year's @clerkenwelldesignweek 2026 - also marking the 15th anniversary of this important global design festival - we’re unveiling “The Fountain of Technicolour Beads”, created with our material partner Leigei Stone, known for its precision‑engineered reconstituted-stone surfaces. The installation turns the often-invisible reality of Colour Vision Deficiency (CVD) into an experience you can walk through, using precisely coloured, tactile stone beads to show how texture can communicate where colour alone falls short.
We’re calling on designers, architects and social impact design enthusiasts to seek it out during Clerkenwell Design Week (19–21 May), experience the installation first-hand and join the conversation: in a city like London, are we designing for the average eye, or for every eye?

This exciting installation, “The Fountain of Technicolour Beads,” is a collaborative masterpiece with material partner Leigei Stone. Known for their dedication to inclusivity and socially conscious design, One Bite is transforming the public realm with a vibrant installation that challenges how we think about color and accessibility.
“The Fountain of Technicolour Beads” is a powerful call to action on design inclusivity. This installation uses sculptural stacks of Leigei Stone beads to explore Colour Vision Deficiency (CVD), or color blindness.
While the colors may blur for some, the varied tactile forms of the beads remain distinct, demonstrating how texture can be a universal language when color fails.
One Bite Design Studio’s work is a celebration of diversity and a critical reminder that design should be accessible to everyone, not just the “average” eye. Becoming the first architectural practice in Hong Kong to achieve B Corp certification remains a defining milestone in our 10+ year journey. We are constantly exploring how to leverage the B Corp network for the greater good, which is why we were honoured to participate in B:COMING Summit 2026 - the inaugural B Corp Summit in Hong Kong.
The event was a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs and innovators from Hong Kong and abroad. Our very own Sarah also took the stage to share our journey and the milestones we've reached with the audience.

【舊設施，新面貌：重現社區活力——onebite 聯合創辦人張國麟 Alan專訪】
如今onebite已完全把設計融入了社區，於2025年下旬開放的鑽石山活水公園的遊樂空間設計方案便圍繞著社區參與而展開。在設計初期選擇以工作坊的形式招募了約30名不同社會背景和年齡的參與者，透過K.N.O.T：敲門、需求、創造和實驗的方式探索最切合使用者的設計方案；並結合鑽石山昔日的「電影史」，添加了一系列經典電影作品的元素，最終把公園的設計理念訂立為「重塑夢工廠」。鑽石山活水公園因應不同人群的需要創立了家長區、社交區、獨處區等區域，旨在滿足不同群體的需求，把設計真正帶進社區。
