Still carrying the energy from the 37th Annual @bioneers Conference in Berkeley. There’s something rare and HATCHy about being in a space where so many people are not just thinking about a better world, but actively building it. Over the past few days, I found myself in conversation after conversation with people who are deeply committed, wildly creative, and genuinely generous in how they show up. What stood out most wasn’t just the ideas, it was the relationships. I had the chance to meet so many new, inspiring humans… and also reconnect with people from across different chapters of my life—from the @hatchexperience community, to @prescott_college , to the broader Bioneers ecosystem. Those intersections felt meaningful. Like threads weaving into something much bigger than any one gathering. Huge gratitude to @1ninasimons and Kenny Ausubel for co-creating and stewarding Bioneers for the past 37 years. What you’ve built is more than a conference—it’s a living, breathing community that continues to evolve while staying rooted in purpose. And appreciation to so many who made the experience special—especially @jeaninecanty , @corinnabellizzi , @silvertom , @drvictorpineda , @atossasoltani , @teanadavid , @laurenturkearth , and many others who are holding this work with care and intention. And it was great to see @ebuckholtz after a decade! Leaving inspired, grounded, and reminded that change really does happen at the speed of relationships.

After nearly 7 years @hatchexperience , I still can’t believe I get to work with this group of brilliant creatives, badass designers, intuitive facilitators, and truly extraordinary humans. This team has shaped me in ways I never expected — not just professionally, but personally. We’ve grown together, learned from each other, stretched, laughed, supported one another through the hard moments, and somehow built a flow that feels both deep and fresh at the same time. What we create together matters… but how we create it, and who we create it with, matters even more. This crew shows up with so much heart, humility, creativity, and care that it makes me want to be a better version of myself. I’m genuinely grateful that I get to do this work with them. It’s a gift, and I don’t take it for granted. I am thrilled to share the incredible success of the WOVEN Symposium, a powerful collaboration with @5gyres focused on building a roadmap to tackle microfiber pollution. This two-day event addressed the urgent and widespread issue of microfiber pollution, which poses significant threats to both environmental and human health. Despite the existing gaps in science and research, and the hurdles to implementing known solutions, the symposium brought together the best minds across industries – from science to supply chain, materials design to filtration technology, research to reuse. We also brought @hatchexperience Provocateurs to disrupt traditional thinking. Together, we developed a collective vision for reducing microfiber pollution from textiles. And…we had fun along the way! A huge thank you to all the speakers, participants, and organizers who made this event possible. Special thanks to the 5 Gyres team for their unwavering dedication and partnership. Your expertise and commitment to combating microfiber pollution are truly inspiring. I'm still buzzing with inspiration and gratitude after the phenomenal @hatch @arcosanti Summit that took place last week. It was a gathering like no other, bringing together passionate individuals from around the globe to delve into critical topics shaping our world today. First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended. Your energy, dedication, and commitment to positive change made this event truly remarkable. It was an honor to share this experience with each and every one of you. Hosting HATCH in Prescott, Arizona, holds special significance for me. Seeing my community come alive with the spirit of innovation, collaboration, and activism was incredibly meaningful. It's a testament to the power of bringing diverse voices together and sparking dialogue that transcends geographical boundaries. Throughout the summit, we delved into a multitude of pressing issues, from climate change and environmental stewardship to the age of AI and the importance of combating misinformation. Discussions on expanding democracy for all, reimagining water and food systems, and harnessing arts and creativity as forms of activism were particularly enlightening. I'm deeply inspired by the transformative work being spearheaded by visionaries like Dr. Michael McAfee and Josh Kirschenbaum at PolicyLink. Their efforts to reimagine democracy and empower individuals to become founders of change are truly groundbreaking. And let's not forget the incredible team that came together to tackle the complex challenges surrounding water and food systems. Their innovative solutions and collaborative spirit give me hope for a more sustainable and equitable future. As we reflect on the impact of the HATCH Arcosanti Summit, let's carry forward the momentum and passion ignited during our time together. I can't help but feel immensely grateful for the incredible hospitality extended to @yarrowk and I during our time in Austin for @sxsw A heartfelt thank you to our good friend @swinarick for opening her home and hosting us along with Danielle Lauren and @samramirezherrera (who are both amazing!). Your warmth and generosity truly made our stay unforgettable. I also want to express my deepest appreciation to @playbig Nancy Giordano for orchestrating and hosting our annual dinner party collaboration. It was a night filled with inspiration, connections, and fantastic wines.
