Most people know light affects their mood. What they don’t  always realize is how completely it controls the body’s daily cycle. At the poles, you get the most extreme version of this. Full light for months. Full darkness for months. Being in Antarctica at the end of their summer, I could feel the shift before I could explain it. Here’s the biology: Light triggers serotonin and cortisol, which drives activity and mental alertness. Darkness triggers melatonin, which prepares the body for sleep and repair. When that cycle gets disrupted, everything follows—energy, mood, recovery. The winter depression so many people experience every year isn’t just in their heads. It’s a measurable hormonal response to reduced light.

If someone is talking about billions of stem cells… That’s a red flag. In many cases, what’s being referenced isn’t actually stem cells at all. Understanding the difference matters more than the number. Comment INJECT and we will send you our articles on stem cell therapy.

Stem cell injections target a specific area. The body, however, prioritizes repair based on its own hierarchy of needs, addressing what matters most first. Supporting the release of your own stem cells with STEMREGEN® allows that process to happen systemically, across the body. And even when injections are used, enhancing circulation can amplify the overall effect.

If you’ve never sat with hunger, it might feel like something you always need to respond to immediately. But if you allow that signal to pass, something interesting can happen. The body begins producing ketones, an alternative fuel that can provide a more stable, clear form of energy for the brain. It’s a state many people never experience, simply because they never let themselves get there.

Autophagy is one of the body’s most important longevity mechanisms.  Here’s why: It is basically the body’s natural cellular recycling system.  Autophagy cannot happen, however,  when you are constantly eating. It’s activated when you fast.  If you don’t want to fast, there are certain natural sources you can introduce to your diet to boost autophagy. Watch to find out what those are.

Nothing repairs in the body without stem cells. So when PEMF, red light, or HBOT work, they work because of stem cells. These modalities support how stem cells move, multiply, and repair tissue which is why they’ve been effective in areas like joint recovery. When you add more stem cells into circulation, these modalities become even more effective.

Stinky pits? Blocking your sweat isn’t the only option. Most antiperspirants rely on aluminum to shut the whole system down. But BO isn’t caused by sweat alone—it’s caused by bacteria. A more natural approach? Support your skin’s microbiome. Coconut oil, tea tree, and sage can help keep odor in check without interfering with your body’s normal function. Because “no sweat” isn’t necessarily the goal.

You’ve probably been thinking about stem cells the wrong way. In this conversation @stemcellchristian and @valerieorsoni discuss why stem cells are so different than other cells in the body. Most cells are fixed in what they do, but stem cells are not. They have the ability to become many different types of cells in the body. Which is why they are so central to how your body repairs and rebuilds.

Let’s talk about it. Erectile dysfunction is usually framed as a performance issue…but more often, it’s a circulation issue. Not a confidence problem. A blood flow problem. Microvascular function determines how well blood moves through the body. When that system is compromised, function follows, which is why supporting vascular health matters more than most people realize.

Clearing zombie cells is one of the keys to longevity. Over time, cells can become senescent; damaged, dysfunctional, and contributing to inflammation in the body. The accumulation of these zombie cells is often referred to as senescent burden. To maintain function, the body needs to remove these cells. This is where senolytics come in. Certain compounds, including plant extracts, can support the body’s ability to clear these cells. And once that space is created, the body can shift toward repair and renewal.
