@edinstacam chats to @tedmacdonnell and @valentina.schwendinger who together made the @bbhlondon entry for straight 8 shootout which will screen in cannes this june. have great weekends. we know we will!!!
we’re lifting off with the next exciting outing for super nature. this saturday @flatpackfestival in birmingham. screening at noon at @mockbirdcinema the film will be presented by filmmaker collaborator team super nature member @tommerilion
tom is an old friend of super nature director @edinstacam and is an original @straight_8_ filmmaker from when ed started straight 8 with 20 friends in 1999
a london based filmmaker and photographer with his own super 8 camera and a passion for aviation and links to france, tom was THE person for ed to ask to shoot a thrilling aerial scene for the film, flying with geese! tom and his son @sachamerilion then aged 13 went to fly and film in the cantal region of france with renown pilot christian moullec of voler avec les oiseaux.
tom is also the natural choice to host this screening being a son of birmingham whose own photography work has featured iconic parts of birmingham, and has been featured in iconic parts of birmingham like @mac_birmingham
