A dream as always to direct the official video for āSeabirdā with @dearyband - our fifth collaboration marking the start of the campaign for their beautiful debut album āBirdingā
āSeabirdā is a call for hope when you canāt see through the dark, we wanted the video to feel like being overcome by light. It feels particularly special to make something like this at a time when I think we need that light more than ever.
Iāve got so much love for this band and this album and itās a genuine privilege to be involved in my small way.

WE MADE IT TO THE BFI IMAX! So excited that āInhabited by a Cryā will be part of this yearās incredible TOP 25 line-up at @straight_8_ 2026 screening on the BIGGEST screen in the UK. Itās very special to make this together, a bit of a full circle moment for us as a team being the first time weāve worked in this director/actor combination since we met on Birdsong over three years ago. My latest video with good friends @dearyband āAlfieā is out now. Itās a big one. Getting to visualise a track of this beauty and magnitude was a massive privilege and pressure. A full 7 minute experience, and a roller skater. I felt the weight of matching up to the euphoria of that outro in my bones. Itās a very special song, and it is a joy beyond words to be entrusted with finding a way to visualise at least some of the feeling of listening to it.
