My @straight_8_  short film, Deconstruction, is now LIVE via the link in my bio! 📽️ Filmed on one roll of Super 8. No editing. No retakes, no second chances! We took on the challenge of the legendary straight 8 film competition—where you shoot a film entirely in-camera on a single Super 8 cartridge, with no post-production or retakes. You only get 3 minutes to tell your story, and what you capture is what the judges see. The audio? Recorded separately and submitted blind. You don’t even get to watch your own film until its premiere. 😩 Out of over 150 entries from around the world, our film made it into the Top 25 globally—a dream come true. It premiered on the biggest screen in the UK at the BFI IMAX in London, and the experience was beyond words! These shots are just a glimpse! Every filmmaker poured their heart into these films—each one is a raw, honest expression of creativity and passion. @straight_8_ 2025 is the reason we began our Super 8 journey.
