The word “filming” gets thrown around a lot, but in this case, ! literally got to film Artemis II. A once in a lifetime opportunity. This might be the only physical motion picture film of this historical moment. I’ll forever treasure it.

Perfect exposure. Although color negative film can capture images in all kind of light nothing looks as good as when it’s perfectly exposed. This is the 518SV an upgrade version of the 518 with 500T and the internal 85 in. This version has several upgrades including having auto exposure with 500T.

I love super 8 film because it allows me to be present in the moment. I don’t have to manage heavy equipment, lights, stands, etc. I can be an unobtrusive part of my client’s experience. Just me and my cameras. I choose to use Rhonda cams, and have for ten years, because they are light, reliable and extremely consistent. Registration. The ability to hold the film steady in the camera . This is what’s amazing about the 814AZE . Look at that frame line it’s looks Pin Registered. Most likely this was the reason Canon switched to Back Loading. It took them 7 years of camera design to get this right. It’s mastering the art of film moving creating this perfectly 24 times a second. A miracle of engineering. Shot with the New Cartridges.
If your thinking Vertical Super 8 realize there are 2 important vertical formats. 9x16 full screen best shot in Max 8 Vertical scanned 1920x1080 with side only overscan or Portrait best shot with standard Super 8 shot Vertical framed with 1350x1080 scan no overscan . Both are interesting new ways to use Super 8 film in Social Media.
