We know you’ve got a soft spot for our film factory in Enschede, and so do we. While we were producing #ReclaimedPurple film, @woahruben spent a day on the factory floor capturing what goes on behind the scenes, from the packaging line, to fresh (purple) film rolling off the conveyor belt.
In our eternal quest to minimize factory waste, the Reclaimed Series gives leftover materials a second life through small-batch experiments (remember Reclaimed Blue & Green?).
This time, our scientists Huub and Roché mixed Blue 600 chemistry with Acid Red dye just to see what would happen. Purple happened. Otherworldly, dreamlike, limited-edition purple.

We asked @bijoubybecca to bedazzle a Polaroid Flip for @ameliadimz with one brief: make it playful, unique and very her. She did exactly that, and we’re big fans of the result (and her). 🩷🪩
@fredeject spends his time between photography and collecting Victorian dresses from the late 1800s and early 1900s. The #PolaroidI2 has been helping him get some of his ideas out of his head and onto film, often making the most of its multiple exposure feature along the way.
“I’ve always loved the film 'Honey, I Shrunk the Kids', and when a university student asked me to be featured in his short film, it felt like a good chance to explore that idea. These are the Polaroid photos I took on set that day.”
Today’s the first of our four annual Polaroid Analog Days, when the Polaroid team in Amsterdam frisbees their laptops into a bin (figuratively: we just turned them off).
No phones, no screens, no pre-work, no post-work, no work-work, and definitely no “just gonna reply to this one email.”
We believe the best of life happens far away from screens, so instead of just talking about it, we popped it in the calendar.

“Even as a millennial, I own very few physical photos. I have over 40,000 photos on my phone, but until last year I didn’t have a single printed picture in my home or workspace. Many of my younger clients have grown up entirely in a digital world, so holding a real photograph just feels different.”
