It’s been an overwhelming response to our exhibition @tactile_dialogues . To everyone who dropped by over the last few days we are immensely grateful.
For me, interiors have always been about storytelling through material. The work is exceptional. Thank you to all of the makers; not only for your extraordinary work, but for your openness, generosity, and camaraderie throughout this process. You have pushed and challenged me in many ways and if I’ve been demanding and slightly neurotic through the process, thank you for trusting me with your work!
The @madebymorgen team for inviting me into your space again and helping me realise my vision. In gratitude.🙏🏽
Finally to all of the sponsors for supporting independent design, craft, and the making community. Exhibitions like this genuinely would not happen without that support.
Open tomorrow till 5pm (I will be around till 3pm) pls come by and say hi… slightly fragile .. taking hugs :) x

It’s that time of the year! This year’s exhibition for Melbourne Design Week explores the idea of the fragment as both material and concept, inviting audiences to slow down and engage more closely with process, texture and the traces of making. The exhibition frames fragmentation as a site of possibility: a way of revealing the hand of the maker and the ever-evolving relationship between creator and material.
We look forward to welcoming visitors from Friday 15th May (11am-5pm) Sat 16th/Sun17th May (10am-5pm)

Found Golf and @uptherestore present Clubhouse for NGV Melbourne Design Week. 14-24 May at Up There - 69 Flinders Lane.
Join us for opening night celebration 6:30 - 9:30pm Thursday 14 May.
The exhibition brings together designers working with sports materials, designers who are professional athletes, those reinterpreting sports-related objects, and practitioners examining their personal relationships to sport. From golf to surfing, gym equipment to dartboards, sport is reconsidered as both a cultural phenomenon and a deeply creative form of expression.
The group exhibition seeks to foreground the revival of the clubhouse, reflecting contemporary values and evolving design aesthetics.

An afternoon with friends @thelightimpact
The lighting in most of my projects starts here in — handling pieces, talking through new arrivals, watching how light falls across a fitting before it ever reaches a client’s home.
The relationships behind a kitchen matter as much as the materials in it. This is one of them.
Designed for Melbourne Design Week 2022, the Sequence Lamp is Jay Jermyn’s sculptural nod to the hardware behind electronic music.
Repetitive glass spheres, raw aluminium, and a staple in the Objects for Thought collection.
Finalist, Dulux Colour Awards 40th Anniversary.
Kat the Label, High St Flagship.
An exploration of how a singular, and at times, recessive palette can amplify and enhance a retail experience.
Thank you to the jury for the recognition in this milestone year. Congratulations to our fellow finalists, looking forward to celebrating at the Sydney Opera House next month!

•DULUX COLOUR AWARDS•
A bit of a pinch-me moment for the studio.
To have my first two projects as a solo practice recognised in the 40th anniversary of the @dulux Colour Awards, and named finalists across 2 categories, feels monumental and bloody exciting!
These projects mark the beginning of Studio Shields as its own voice. Colour-led, story-driven, and colour being deeply ingrained into the fabric of each space, not applied as an afterthought, but embedded from the outset.
A huge thank you to the judges for recognising the work and the diversity in how colour has been used across both projects. It is an honour to be recognised in such a talented group of designers.
Joy Haus holds a special place in all of this. A home shaped by trust, generosity and a shared appetite for colour. Thank you to my wonderful clients who leaned in, said yes, and allowed the work to become something layered, personal and full of life.
Nominated for residential interior & exterior ✨
For The View, thank you to Patrick, who has been there through every iteration, every wild colour turn in our own home, backing the experimentation and letting it unfold without restraint.
Nominated for residential interior ✨
Colour has always been more than a visual tool for me. It’s how I understand space. How I build atmosphere. How I tell stories.
This feels like a full circle moment, and also just the beginning.
