Many years ago @peachesnisker came into my shop and bought this cape. It was the same cape worn in the fashion show I put on a few months earlier and was worn in the finale look same sex wedding. I’ve always loved Peaches work, the doing your own thing, sexy, not for you, for me, sexy, strong, weird, camp and ferocious. So it’s such a treat to see the great human herself wearing that Edgeley cape for this excellent interview by @msmirandasawyer to promote her new album No Lube �So Rude. As someone who sits at a desk or on a sewing machine all day I need all the help I can get. I’ve doing pilates under Kasia’s keen eye for over 10 years and it’s made a huge improvement in my posture, strength and understanding of my body. Kasia recently opened the wonderfully calm Body Concert studio in Queensbury st Melbourne. It’s somewhere I always look forward to visiting.

I’ve made this work called “Schvitz n titz” in response to the call out for works relating to the colour red or hot mess, hot flush, hot stuff, hot rod etc etc.. They will be debuting at @daniellebrustman s Superhot Shop for this year’s Design Week. It’s a wall hanging or neckpiece. ( . )( . )
Back in 2002 or 3 when we definitely weren’t doing Y2k. With my friends John and @muchmuchthepoodle we went on many hair raising adventures. I’m not sure where we were off to here or why I’m wearing a dashing moustache. I do remember those gorgeous Italian boots which I found at the op shop and that Gaultier dress my mum found at the Camberwell markets. My hair was inspired by a photo of Verushka and people used to yell “Cruella de Ville!” at me all the time. this was around the time I was going to move to Berlin. I was working nights at Cherry bar in the cloakroom/door. I used to smoke and drink on the job, what fun! I worked at @rosechonghire during the day and did freelance costume/sewing work too. We used to spend AGES on our eyeliner and hair.
