How are communities reclaiming the ends and building sites of imagination? Gassed to be in conversation at the @barbicancentre with some incredible panelist’s on the 9th July. Speakers include @drjoywhite @_shawn_adams_ Christian Cassiel @seedarchives The talk explores how communities are creating homegrown methodologies to reclaim and reinvest in the spaces that shape us. This talk is part of the public programme co- curated by legend @tobikyere in response to Project A Black Planet: The Art and Culture of Panafrica - an exhibition co-organized by the Art Institute of Chicago and MACBA Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona in collaboration with Barbican London and KANAL- Centre Pompidou Bruxelles. This years theme has been intentional connection, watering roots. Seeing the shoots emerge has been fun.
