We are so happy with another beautiful opening and exhibition at our beautiful castle. Le déjeuner sur l’herbe brings together amazing artists and galleries from around the world centered around the iconic eponymous painting of Manet, depicting an everyday scene at historic scale, causing scandal and new movement simultaneously. Nestled in the countryside, Kasteel Hof d’Intere forms temporary refuge from the city. Many thanks to all amazing artists, galleries and volontairs thanks to curator Bruno Devos for bringing this exhibition together. We are open on Saturday and Sunday from 13:00 - 18:00, as well as during this Ascension weekend. On Sunday 17 of May we bring a special programme. More info in bio. They offer a one-year program in Dutch for professionals that can still be combined with a full-time job, as all classes take place on Saturdays. Start in September, finish in June! It’s a good mix of theory and practice. The program is aimed at two groups: graphic designers who want to improve their book design skills, and book lovers who want to realize a self-publishing project.
