HOPPER&FUCHS gooit vandaag het anker uit met een pop-upwinkel, waar een selectie van hun opmerkelijke uitgaven te zien is. De uitgeverij omschrijft zichzelf als “een toevluchtsoord voor onze kunstenaars, waar we elke dag een thuis voor hun boeken creëren.”
In het Schipperskwartier en het Eilandje wordt dat idee van een toevluchtsoord bijna letterlijk. Op zaterdag zullen hun boeken hier aanmeren – elk met de sporen van het werk van een kunstenaar, van schilderkunst en fotografie tot dans, architectuur en nog veel meer. Op de Non Stage bij Gert Junes Gallery worden deze boeken een podium op zich. Een kleine haven van boeken, tijdelijk aangemeerd in de tentoonstelling.

Coming to WIELS: a book presentation with Luc Deleu and Dirk Snauwaert.
Belgian architect, urbanist and artist Luc Deleu has, over several decades, explored how we relate to and organise space.
Together with WIELS artistic director, he presents FOUNDER’S CHOICE, a comprehensive and richly illustrated overview of his work.
Bringing together projects across scales, from small-scale interventions to global propositions, the publication reflects on humanity’s spatial presence on Earth and on the role of art and architecture in shaping its meaning and direction.
