Earlier this spring, ULI Austin Young Leaders hosted a members-only conversation on what’s next for East 6th Street. We heard from Taylor Green (@stream.austin ), Hannah Rangel (@downtownaustin ), John Rigdon (@waterloogreenway ), and Eric Cleveland (@austin_police ) on how ongoing efforts are working together to reshape eastern downtown into a safer, more vibrant, and more connected district. The redevelopment of Sixth Street by Stream Realty Partners, the expansion of the Austin Convention Center, and the creation of Waterloo Greenway are complementary initiatives transforming this corridor into a more pedestrian-oriented destination.
