So this was probably one of the more reckless ideas I’ve ever come up with in terms of scale divided by budget 😂😂 Can only apologise to Rima & Patrick for maxing out their stress levels, but think it came out alright ey lads ey? 😘😘 The idea was to witness the inner workings of a therapy session within someone’s mind as they battle through their demons. I used an endless corridor as the mind’s metaphor and the different rooms Iyamah enters as the different emotions and struggles she needed to face, until ultimately she finds peace at the end. We went and made some spec ads for @salomon @salomonrunning to flex the creative muscles a little and feel what is was like to write & produce something without much limitation. The whole ‘too many cooks’ mantra can sometimes spring to mind. It’s not your usual Salomon ad but I love it even more because of it. We’re taking normal people in common situations and flipping it on its head. Not cool & edgy like your usual Salomon ad but simple and more importantly, relatable. It was super fun to shoot these alongside two others on an exceedingly hot day in Summer.
