Trading Cards III was an epic success, and it’s all thanks to this incredible community. We are officially humbled. The energy was electric, the talent was unmatched, and the participation was truly off the charts with over 150 original works exchanged!
A massive thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday. We also owe a huge debt of gratitude to The Active Space for generously hosting us and providing the perfect venue for this event to come to life.

Success in our society is measured by the size of your house, your bank account, and all the goalposts people my age are supposedly meant to have cleared by now. Enough to make people (hi! It’s me) feel like they’re not matching up.
When I looked around last week at the connections I’ve made over the two-plus decades of my life, my eyes prickled with happy, salty tears. I didn’t cry because I grew up around Irish Catholics and we were told not to (jk, I definitely did) But Jesus, am I lucky. And in that moment, I thought - this is my success.
Words like grateful and lucky feel too small.
How do I encapsulate how epically and cosmically fortunate I am that all of these people crossed my path? Each one added (and continues adds) to the tapestry of my strange, magical life. Who would I be without you? I don’t think I even want to meet that version of me.
I hope we’re friends/family in every parallel universe.
Thank you so much for your love and for keeping mine safe.
Thank you for showing up in arctic tundra level conditions, not making me feel weird about all of my costume changes, wearing matching outfits, flying in! writing the perfect things in my big card, letting me be a sentimental mush, surprising me 😊 and just… always showing up (this includes anyone who couldn’t come but sent messages, videos, champagne and love).
I didn’t know how badly I needed to bury my face in all of your chests last week, see your smiles, and cry over a Negroni. For my little nomadic heart that never knows where she’s going to land in time and space, it always feels good to come home.
I will love you all endlessly. To the point that it’s weird. Like, if I die before you, I will haunt you, but in a fun way. You’ll always wonder what happened to your orange sock (me), or maybe I’ll high-five you in your dreams or that rogue piece of glitter on your forehead….me again.
And when we all eventually go out, I’ll find you in the next life hopefully when we’re younger so we get more time together.

A Thanksgiving tradition of feeling thankful for another incredible year connecting with talented artists in their studios! There's nothing like experiencing work in the studio and sharing meaningful conversations. I crushed my goal of visiting one studio per week, and I'll be sharing all the highlights in 3 parts. We are elated to announce the world premiere of 💸✨🚨BINGOVIA🚨✨💸 on September 28th at Cobra Club.
As artists, we know the absurdity of throwing our portfolios into the void, hoping to one day be awarded mysterious & elusive grants & fellowships. With a mission to help subsidize studio costs, this artists-only happening is a hybrid trivia game where attendees combine a bit of luck with their knowledge of art & art history to potentially win $$$. Instead of one “winner takes all,” BINGOVIA offers multiple $$$ prizes throughout stages of the game, with one grand prize winner taking home the big pot $$$.
$25 entry fee goes towards prizes $$$. First 75 artists play. To participate, you must prove you have an artistic practice by showing your website/IG/portfolio at the door.

@eridanstudio ’s 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘸𝘰 and 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘸𝘰 were created simultaneously by exchanging two paintings back and forth. They are part of a larger series of works that investigate the oneness of duality in collaborative practices. Each work investigates collaboration as a conceptual process that utilizes geometry and symmetry as a system to produce visual harmony. The orchestra of lines, curves, and colors accumulate into repetitive shapes
and patterns that translate an energy of elevation, radiance, abundance, and balance.
