I curated a show 🥳 The opening is this Saturday at @fieldofplaygallery from 6-8! The show is called Campfire Songs and the art is sweet, fun, magical, and kind. All the artists involved @defilippo.christian@audrey.aember@kev__oh@voylescurio@til_will are wonderful and powerful artists that channel the energy of friends singing around a campfire within their work. Please come see the show! This is the first time I’ve curated something entirely by myself and it means a lot to me (also it’s an absolute banger). [Untitled] (Robust Statue) - Watercolor on rock, 14.75” x 22”
I found this rock in Greenpoint under a sign saying “Free Rocks”. I thought painting on it would be an interesting spin on the sculptural paintings I’ve been making over the past couple years.
Also, thank you to everyone who came to the show I was in at Pratt last week! I hope to see you at my next show this Friday!
