The Cat Is Back !!! Get on down to the @whitebear.farringdon on Saturday 16th May!! Yes people this session features special guest DJ @paulmurphyjazzdj . We are so excited to welcome PAUL to ‘The Cat…’, it’ll be the first time this massively influential DJ & @jazzroomrecords record label boss has joined us..!!! It’s a jam packed session, first off from 3pm we welcome back behind the decks none other than our dear buddy @barker303 , Neil’s making a very welcome first return since his health paused his playin’, but Saturday see’s him back behind the decks for the opening slot on Saturday .. Then there’s the Jazz Hobblers, a group of DJs who are converging from far‘n’wide to be with us on Saturday last year they ‘smashed it!’ So it’s great to have them back this year for this sesh’ .. @butchybee @weeg_glasgow @fatwax45 Mark Lancaster .. Then there’s the residents !! @mattyfjay @si_cheeba @junior_kickstart71 & me( @deanchalkley_ ) .. each bringing their own perspectives to the musical proceedings .. 🌞🌞🌞🌞 So join us if you can, it’s Free To Enter , as you probably know The White Bear does great pizza’s so come for a ‘social’ / a drink / Pizza & of course a DANCE!!! .. It will be the third anniversary of #echochamberrecordings this summer 2026 Always moving forward with the sub labels and collaborations since then. Loads of new stuff in the pipeline with vinyl releases this year but also, so much music in the vaults and being created all the time. There are boxes of dubplates of edits and productions going back decades sitting in the Cheeba Sonic Laboratory too! Inspired by seeing other artists like Cut Chemist with their subscriptions service that I personally subscribe to, I thought this would be a great platform to set up another outlet Now everyone who digs the variety of the musical vibrations from the Echo Chamber organisation - will have access to even more cuts than the label can put out on vinyl - PLUS - they will get extra discounts on all new vinyl releases and merchandise - along with some free digital tracks from the back catalogue. Just planning and setting this up now - to be available from June 2026 - coinciding with the third anniversary of the start of the label. More details to come soon - but the initial idea will be to have at least 2 new tracks every month and lots exclusive of ad-hoc stuff alongside the regular schedule - all for the price of a cup of coffee every month Can’t wait to get started putting more stuff out there !
