Wtf Is this ChrisHill tastic jazz funk tune. It’s incredibly obvious but for life of me, I can’t work out what it is Help it’s doing my head in.

45 Friday with this brand new release that’s hit the racks and is selling fast. A nice lil’ edit under my Preacher psuedonym of the killer version of “Gabriel” by the Romero Bros, backed with a banger from Bangsy aka the legend that is Chris Bangs. Romero Bros - Cravo E Canela (Bangsy Remix ) b/w Gabriel (The Preachers Good News Edit) Clips are taken from the test pressing….sounding good! Played the Gabriel edit fresh off the blocks from a vinyl carver at The NYC Downlow at Glastonbury Festival 2025...carnage ensued....limited 7-inch vinyl to be had, so copy n paste or click the link to get ‘em before they’re gone! /track/gabriel-the-preachers-good-news-edit 💒💒🚂🚂🚂💒💒 #djgregbelson #echoedits #echolabs #romerobros #nycdownlow

Comment ‘JUNOPICKS’ to listen⁣⁣⁣⁣! UK soul scene stalwarts Chris Bangs and Mick Talbot (yes, he of The Style Council fame) will soon release the belated sequel to their much-loved 2022 set Back To Business. The track that sits on side A, 'K-Jee', is taken from that forthcoming album. It's a predictably impressive cover of the Nite Liters (and later MFSB) disco-era funk jam 'K-Jee', with the pair replaying key elements of the original (horns, bass, drums etc) while adding a touch of Afro-Cuban percussion magic, salsa style piano solos and some gorgeous flute action. Side B boasts non-album bonus cut 'Re Micks', a live, boom-bap hip-hop style re-work of a previously unreleased Talbot instrumental that was originally destined to feature on Back To Business Alongside crunchy, head-nodding beats, we get Hammond and Rhodes solos aplenty.
