Last night we welcomed the legendary Brian Jackson at Hidden Grooves for a special playback session hosted by Kate Hutchinson exploring his forthcoming album Now More Than Ever with Masters at Work, alongside reflections and untold backstories of his legendary creative collaborations with the late Gil Scott-Heron. Unheard music filled the room, with real conversations and deep listening throughout. The fact that the two of them are now about to tour together, celebrating the legacy of Gil Scott-Heron, feels like one of those full circle moments that needs no explanation.
