With just under 4 months to go, we’ve still got even more to share with you - from DJs to our wider programme to the full run down of WOH Radio, there are many more announcements on the way.
But for now, a big thank you to each and every one of you who has decided to join us this year. Whether you’re returning, or joining us for the first time, we can’t wait to welcome you to the fields in a few months time!
Big love, WOH xx
Spotlight: RISE Collective 💛
RISE are a team of young creatives with an aim is to challenge the narrow perspectives that have historically dominated mainstream media by creating more diverse and authentic representation. Last summer they joined our WOH press team to shoot content and interviews on site…
💬 “Speaking from personal experience, the collaboration between the RISE Collective and We Out Here has completely changed the trajectory of my life. Being trusted to work within a press team made up mostly of people who were still learning the ropes is a rarity. We were stepping into spaces alongside established photographers, videographers, and interviewers, yet still given room to experiment, make mistakes, and grow through them. That freedom is something difficult to find in creative industries today”
We’re pleased to share a number of interviews by the RISE team, all taken at WOH’25. Head to our website to take a look!

‘Girlz B Like’; More Than Ever’ It Takes A Village with Marcia Carr 🌟
In this episode, DJ, broadcaster, producer, and Girlz B Like founder Marcia Carr reflects on over a decade of building community, resilience, and space for women within underground music culture.
Founded in London in 2015, Girlz B Like has continued to champion women across music culture while soundtracking dancefloors through house, funk, disco, broken beat, and global sounds. The platform focuses on creating its own space rather than waiting for a seat at someone else’s table.

In the next episode of our WWFM series, anaiis traces a lineage of revolutionary female voices whose artistry and defiance have shifted culture, shaped history, and informed her own creative evolution.
A French Senegalese artist rooted in movement, transformation, and self inquiry, anaiis creates work shaped by diasporic lineage, sacred Black thought, and the belief that art can imagine new possibilities.

Artist Spotlight: Thundercat ⚡
‘Time-travelling, space-hopping virtuoso bassist’, Thundercat has left an undeniable mark on music. A lifelong fan of ThunderCats, his name reflects the same wide-eyed, cosmic energy that defines his music.
Moving fluidly between behind-the-scenes collaboration and front-facing artistry since the early 2010s, he sat at the creative epicentre of Kendrick Lamar’s landmark album To Pimp a Butterfly, earning a GRAMMY for ‘These Walls’, and later reunited with Flying Lotus to score an episode of the award-winning series Atlanta.
His new album, Distracted, features collaborations with the late Mac Miller, as well as Flying Lotus, WILLOW, Tame Impala and more.
Thundercat joins us at WOH to celebrate the arrival of Distracted 🖤
