i’m extremely proud to share an after movie i worked on with the team of Lab54 & IKEA after their London Pop Up series, one of Lab’s biggest series to date and i’m forever grateful they put their trust in me to capture the moments from the weekend of chaos.
with lead up to IKEA opening their new store on Oxford Road this Thursday, the series plays off the idea of what home truly means and how important the third space is for us. community spaces, in particular the music scene, is constantly under threat and many third spaces are struggling but series like this allows us to think about placemaking and improving spaces for people to connect in unconventional ways.
never did i expect to be working on an event where my saturday included filming in a kebab shop, a London black cab mobile DJ set which then took us to a rave in a library.
thanks to @tazzzzj for putting me forward for the project, to Jess who heads up the Content team at Lab and the rest of their team for being legends to work alongside. massive thanks to the team at IKEA who came down to see the series unfold, the venues involved and the punters who made it so effortless for me to capture some great moments.
special mention to Jenn Gunn who provided the music which soundtracks the after movie so beautifully.

Tomorrow, we’re recording the final show at @sizeofficial in their Leeds store, rounding off the size?radio limited series. Been a lot of fun working on this, with a boss team and a selection of talented artists from the North West.
The show will be archived on the size?YouTube Channel and Reform Radio’s website shortly after. Stay tuned for that as it comes.

King Krule in Liverpool back in June 2023, at the Invisible Wind Factory.
realised i never got around to sharing these photos from a few months back. shortly after the release of Space Heavy, the band have been touring around the world, stopping by Liverpool in June and managed to go see them in Manchester last week.
also, a portrait of Archy we took during his time in Liverpool, is on the sleeve of the record. a period of time i look back on fondly. thanks for everything and more.
