This summer I created a short documentary with @carlyanndavenport . She is a bird conservationist who has left her farmland as habitat for endangered grassland species. This project taught me a lot about how we can be better friends to our wild neighbors and develop a better understanding of our role in the natural world.
Big thanks to @theartofdocumentary for best cinematography in the one day doc competition and @wcff_org for winner in the endangered species category.

An initiative that brings out the best in the community. I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to help highlight the incredible work this organization is achieving. This project had its limitations but we tried to do the most we could in the short amount of time we had to shoot this. This was an exciting challenge to step into. How do you create contrast in a space that is completely white? This project called for a tone that required us to think more about taking away available light rather than adding. It was super fun to see this come to life and to work with such a great team.

It was super fun to try and push the boundaries of what we could do with an event video. We wanted to let the kids step into the spotlight on this one. It’s been incredible to see the growth and impact of these programs over the past couple years.
