“Play Forever” is a mantra of remembrance. A daily reminder to play our dreams into existence. An affirmation of understanding that we are more than our circumstance. Today, we celebrate @psg breaking ground in Toronto and our commitment to the @playforever.ca . Ici c’est Paris! Ici c’est Toronto! 🔴🔵✨

The @jayscare Girls At Bat program is a baseball for development initiative designed to help girls learn the basics of baseball, increase physical activity and improve self-esteem. We’re proud of the girls for having the courage to try new challenges and looking forward to providing more opportunities for girls in sport💯 #JaysCare #PlayForever 🎥 @jamalamaj / @ryanw.m_

The Play Forever basketball court was built four years ago with the idea to host free summer camps and provide employment opportunities for youth. The support from @ctjumpstart and the many organizations along the way has helped more youth participate in organized and accessible sports 🏀⛹🏼‍♀️⛹🏽 We would like to highlight our amazing Lead Program Instructors Ahmed & Nabil for creating an active and fun environment that youth look forward to every summer✨ #CTJumpStart #PlayForever 🎥 @ryanw.m_ / @jamalamaj

From learning about leadership in the classroom to experiencing it in real life, this is what the Rideau Hall Foundation’s Catapult Program is all about. For Yassir, Play Forever became more than just a program, it became a safe space to grow, connect, and build confidence through employment. “I learn something in class, I come to Play Forever and I see it firsthand… for example building rapport - I ended up building rapport with multiple different kids from different schools.” Thank you to @rhf.frh.canada and the Catapult Program for supporting youth across our communities. 🙌

Another amazing session with youth @playforever.ca @torontoartsfoundation @artworks.to @neighbourhoodarts @ocaduniversity at Richmond Hill HS. Today we talked about food and food insecurity. Feeling lucky to facilitate these sessions, loved the engagement and response to the topic in discussions and expressions. #artworks #communityengagment #arteducationmatters #artconnect ##artprojects

At the time, we thought it was about basketball. Looking back, it never was. It was about showing up however we could — mentorship, jobs, support, building something real for the next generation. From 1 school to 2… from 2 to 4… now we’ve honestly lost track. This is what Thrive really looks like. Real people, moments and impact! 🎥: @hellyah.cc

@senecapoly Refugee Rights Day! Our Manager Abeer, recently joined Refugee Rights Day at Seneca Polytechnic as a guest speaker, sharing her lived experience as a refugee alongside her work supporting newcomers across Canada. Her voice brought real perspective to the conversation, highlighting both the challenges and the resilience within our communities today. The session created space for meaningful dialogue with Social Service Worker students and faculty, centered on learning, reflection, and impact!

“Giving back to the community…or did the community really give back to me this summer? The little kids, the little hugs I got this summer, did probably way more for me than anybody else.” - Natalie, Manager of the Crescent Village Community Garden with support from @myrichmondhill & @desjardinscoop

Last month, our youth came together for a series of anti-racism workshops led by incredible guest speakers, building knowledge, confidence, and leadership. The energy carried straight into a fun basketball tournament🏀 Proud of every young leader who showed up and spoke up🙌 Thanks to the support of @crrf_fcrr & @yorkregiongovt
