Following the keynote, a panel discussion featuring leading experts Marcus Kolga, Dr. Jennie Phillips, Ph.D, and Dr. Brian McQuinn, moderated by the Catalyst’s Judith Borts, explored the real-world risks facing Canadian democracy — from foreign interference to the spread of misinformation online — while outlining concrete steps to strengthen Canada’s response and resilience. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an insightful and thought-provoking evening.

Earlier this month, the cybersecurity landscape changed. Anthropic unveiled Claude Mythos: an AI model so capable at finding and exploiting software vulnerabilities that the company refused to release it publicly. In weeks of testing, it identified thousands of zero-day vulnerabilities across every major operating system and web browser. Some of those bugs had been sitting undetected for decades. Join us for Mythos Unpacked: What this new and powerful AI means for cybersecurity, where leading voices will unpack what Mythos is, what it signals, and what organizations need to do to stay ahead. Panelists for this webinar include Adam Evans, RBC's Senior Vice President & CISO, Fion Lee-Madan, Co-founder of Asenion, and Lee Weiner, CEO of TrojAI, and will be moderated by the Catalyst's Founding Executive Director, Charles Finlay. 📅Friday, April 17, 2026 🕛 Time: 12-1 PM ET Register now: Link in bio
