For the past few months I’ve been in the studio developing a new work called Vestige.My earlier audiovisual performances were built off my background in freestyle dance, making timing and structural decisions in response to music, but carried out mainly through camera, light, and pacing in Unreal Engine via custom controllers inspired by film production equipment.With Vestige, I began by building a new controller centered on the human body, pushing the performance beyond the screen and into shared physical space. That starting point has since opened up larger questions around presence, control, and what it means to perform with technology.Huge thanks to @_mioishikawa , @robruthco , @change.is for believing in the project from the beginning, @ben_green , @bausaus , and @flt.n3sss for helping shape the foundation of the piece, and to @jae.bklyn @mtguan @jaz.ia @dearspaceship @onassis.onx @c_j154 @tommy_wu01 @wlab.xr @nyutandon @zerospace @lincolncenter for the support, feedback, and space to experiment. She is dedicated to expressing her artistic vision through game engine and 3D tools. Currently work at Zerospace as a technical artist.Antide is an enigmatic and electrifying artist, DJ, and producer making waves in New York City’s vibrant electronic music scene.
