Visuals from a few years ago for @hyd.earth ! This one is a bunch of points scattered around that suck in vertices based on the audio power of each frequency bin! #unity3d #animation #concert #audiovisual #animation

A little jelly fish island from a while ago! I really loved the idea of these tiny little aquariums / vignettes where every part of it could be touched / be reactive.

I remember when I first got a dev kit of the magic leap and how pumped i was on the possibilities. sure the FOV was tiny but the automatic meshing and the lack of need of pass through was to die for. This is a tiny little experiment I was working on in my old loft because i always wanted these catenaries hanging from the ceiling but never had them!

When ARKit first came out for iphone the thing that made me most excited was the ability to put "feature points" all over the world mesh. It meant that I could in an *extremely* unoptimized fashion created a mesh over the world. This was my favorite pink jean jacket no idea where it is now but this was 10+ years ago.

I *REALLY* miss the days of weird widgets and widgets in general. I started getting super into making them and started to build a bit of a family ( here are ones made with @samanthaquick_ @buenothebear @katbusball & @tokyomegaplex ). Of course the most important test is how good do they feel when you are dead in fortnite so thats the capture we get to see! DM me if you want ( windows ) builds of any of them!

Some shots from a supppper early webgl piece on the dk2 ( with models from @steveteeps ). You used the leap motion to reach out and touch the world around you! ( also used @thespite SEM shaders ) if you cross your eyes you can see it in 3d

As part of my attempt to catalog some work on this platform here is the trailer for “Delila’s Gift”! In 2016 I was commissioned by @tiltbrush to make a “VR Picture Book”! It was really fun to think about how to “turn the page” if the page is all around you. It’s still up on steam but who knows if it runs!

This is one of may favorite features in this level: a sort of treehouse church. @wesleyallsbrook and I went back a forth a bunch trying to decide the best style for these tree houses and I reallllly love what she came up with!

A little debug view of trying to build a tree around a dove ( model by @hugoshiboski ) the first thing that happens is building out an 3D texture that represents the distance field to the surface of the bird. After that a tree is grown, using this distance field to influence the root / branch growth to make sure it wraps around the bird. Once those debug lines are there, the actual mesh of the tree can be built around them!

More spelunking tests! Really want to give the sense of discovery and have some juxtaposition to the complete rave cave, but any time you add a new dimension you have to make decisions which is just SO brutal haha
