Honoured and humbled to be chosen as one of this years Studio Wayne McGregor Resident 6 Artists along with 5 other hugely talented creatives. Deeply grateful for the support to continue to explore and make. As part of Resident 6, I will be exploring how digital and movement offers ways to appreciate our mutual dependency as part of a human, environmental and technological ecology, speculating on new futures and ways of being. I will do this through the further development of mixed reality headset work HINTERLANDS, as well as exploring the potential of AI to mediate the intersection of physical and digital motion, and developing processes for dance practitioners and creative technologists to collaborate. Amongst the mediums @miraloew and I experimented with for our work in progress ‘Narwhal’ (AI LLM, chatbots, AI image and video making, photography, 360 video, object arrangement) we were supported by Simon @flowfal to incorporate wearable movement reactive sound into our performance lecture.
