Inspired by the work of renowned Trinidadian-born painter, dancer, choreographer, and storyteller Boscoe Holder, contemporary classical meets a celebration of Caribbean and British Caribbean dance culture in this new work as a series of sonic paintings.

This piece was a welcome challenge compositonally and notation wise - my first inclusion of graphic score and also quite detailed percussion parts - alongside trying to push myself creatively.
Collaborating with a team also looking to explore, learn and grow through the piece made the process deeply rewarding. I learnt so much from everyone through bringing this together - can’t wait until we get to revisit the work, upgrade and tweak a couple moments and do it again 💪🏿✨
