PV: 14th October, 6 – 9pm Hypha HQ, Unit 3, Euston Tower, 286 Euston Road, NW1 3DP 🎟️RSVP essential via link in @hyphacurates The piece is an electronic sculpture, called a “Useless Device” and it was created out of inspiration from @feministkilljoyatwork ‘s “What’s the use? On the uses of use” enlighting book! 👩🏻‍💻💕

ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴄʀᴇᴇɴ ɪꜱ ᴛʜᴇ ʙʀᴀɪɴ , performative installation. Finally I get a bit of time to share this quick compilation of photos and video of the 4 days of exhibition during @goldsmithscomparts degree show. Exhibiting this piece and being able to perform for -I would say the first time in my life- has been such an amazing and informative experience. It has spoken to me a lot about my relationship with technology 💓, my body and my behavior in presence of others. Eager to take this performance somewhere else where I can keep exploring. Technical review for the geeks that read me: I have three workflows here.. In one I’m using: Axis Studio (mocap software) sending joint data to Unity -> and via OSC -> the same data to -> @touchdesigner in a second computer. All this connected through a private network via Ethernet. The second workflow is one Pico W and a multiplexer to power up 8 i2c displays (the tinny text screens) and an Arduino nano with another multiplexer powering up other 7 i2c displays. And the third is just my iphone screen being streamed to the iPad. Massive thanks to: @stathis_d for some of the pics, @skya.sound for the footage, @fra.macia for his endless programming talent, @julie._cst , @irini.klz , @patrick_hartono , @robhallart and everyone else at @goldsmithscomparts and ofc the most special thanks to @gabrielaolivera for being all the good things possible and having the most amazing and smartest brains of all. I will try to share in another post a bit of my experience on the performative aspect of this.. but I’m still thinking about that. I’m excited to keep working on upcoming iterations 💓👩🏻‍💻 stay tuned 👩🏻‍💻💓

Last few weeks at the studio have been abt writing and researching… I love writing but when I write I usually struggle defining a scope, when I finally delimit what I am writing about, it starts being very fun and fulfilling… I’m sharing a bit of 2 of the 3 papers I’ve been writing… 1- “Short analysis on stagnation and risks of AI narratives”Where I reflect on how AI narratives that have been around since the 20th century are harmful (usually sustained by mainstream media, enterprises and government) and how the overarching consent is that AI is inevitable and with it, also catastrophe. And how the responsibility seems to be carried by no one… 2- “The rise and fall of Silicon Valley’s biggest illusion” this is an speculative exercise situated in 2040 where I imagine that the AI promise of progress and a better life turns out to be the biggest hype bubble and the beginning of the decline of tech driven capitalism. Would love to hear if you have any thoughts around these ideas :) Also swipe to the end to find this week’s biggest distraction 😭🫠

\\\Work in Progress/// 🔉🎦 After an intense term in Uni, finally… I’m excited to share what I’ve been working on the last few months. An effort to communicate or to do the exact opposite, is a durational performance. …where I will attempt to build one DIY machine -from scratch- while documenting the event. The length of the piece will be determined by the whole process of construction. I’m sharing here a few outputs from my research during the last 6 months. The machines: kinetic electronic sculptures, that will be my non-AI companions, accumulating in space as each new one is built. The first video: an excerpt from the first of a series of moving-image works, developed from the documentation of each performance. These video pieces will then be displayed on each of the machines. The other wonderful images and recordings are from the Open Studio at @khojstudios after the 5 week long residency: Bodies, Machines and publics in Dec 2025, in New Delhi👩🏻‍💻, where I was given the time to try out the performance + the prototype of the first machine. Special thanks for the support to: @khojstudios @britishcouncil @please_sleep , all the lovely team at @khojstudios + all the other amazing artists. And always to @gabrielaolivera and @goldsmithscomparts 💕

Happy to finally share a very interesting project I work for last year in Doha. I was in charge of developing an interactive floor at M.F Husain museum in Qatar. This new museum is dedicated to the Indian painter MF Husain. Im sharing here some documentation of the process with @_nate_bliss_ and @stathis_d (my bosses 👩🏻‍💻😍) - the stress testing (the fun) and finally a short video of the finished version of the room. *** Tech description for the geeks that read me 😍: we have an 8 by 6 space and we are using 2 Femto megas hanging on the ceiling. All the setup, calibration and blob tracking is made in @touchdesigner 🍌. This project was quite challaging because the floor interactive animations (6 different scenes) needed to be synced with the video animations on the wall, for this we used a Scene changer tool in touchdesigner developed by @function.str triggered to changed scenes by OSC cues coming directly from Watchout (software in charge of walls playback) this OSC cues would cook and uncook the specific scene on the interactive floor in touchdesigner through an OSC in chop. For the effects on the different scenes I used a mix of particles GPU, Pop’s and instances in touchdesigner. Immensely grateful (forever) to the touchdesigner community for the amazing resources online and for the help and support during this project. Special massive thanks to @function.str 💜who was a consultant during the process, for his kindness and openness to share his knowledge. And to @t3kt for the amazing resources and work on UI layouts and gadgets. If you don’t know their work , check it out :) they are both great. Credits :) -> The immersive space is part of the M.F. Husain Museum Museography design and project management: @_emptysl & @matiaspintodlacoste Creative direction: @stathis_d & @_nate_bliss_ Executive production: @gusgaas and @musence.studio immersive animation: @lightfield_studio Floor interactions: @musence.studio by @rafaroeder If you find yourself in Doha go visit the museum. :)

ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴄʀᴇᴇɴ ɪꜱ ᴛʜᴇ ʙʀᴀɪɴ in Pau, France It’s been 10 days since the opening of @accesscultures festival IA:Intelligences Artistiques at @lebelordinaire curated by @sacha.notey 🫶🏻 Here is a small snippet of my performance that night and a couple of photos. Everyone that was there showed so much curiosity and attention throughout the performance, it was pretty insightful for me. I also said I was going to perform for 30min and ended up performing for an hour, so thank you for bearing with me! I’m a performer in the making. Thank you to the lovely team at @lebelordinaire and @accesscultures , thank you to my fellow artists @lolarossi @realclemensfischer @pierrepauze @tfpello @claerira Thank you aswell to @goldsmithscomparts tech team for the ongoing support to my work, for always sorting me out with gear and for the trust. And… Thank you @gabrielaolivera for your unconditional support, you are smart, talented and immensely kind. I’m learning so much from you. The exhibition is open until November 22nd, so there’s still time to go if you are in France! My installation is on and holds documentation from the performance, AI generated videos and a bunch of little arduino screens. 👩🏻‍💻🫀

Thrilled to be part of @sonarfestival this year in the project area along other pretttty cool projects. Vengan a verme y conversar :) — don’t you think I’m even more excited to dance and see other performances.. 😈😈 ….. In that spirit, I’m ofc in constant research and I’ve been reflecting a lot about process, result, contemplation and the feeling of being bored or being entertained …. and how these relate to agency and attention. All this through a deep concern of creating art (with these types of tech) that is sensitive and vulnerable 🫀 I found this interesting short read from Groys about contemplation, I’m sharing a bit on the last pic... To my fellow artists and creatives, how do you or your work relate to contemplation? Any thoughts? 💕

Y en el último video some might think I’m listening to techno but no, it’s Shakira’s Inevitable blasting in my ears 🫀 siempre intensa 🫀
