An ode to friendship
Contemporary dance set against a beautiful projected backdrop and an original sound score by @Phoebe.Coco , I’m sorry to disappoint you all by @the12thfloorduo is the story of two friends tangled together in a 12th floor tower block post pandemic.
Cocooned and swallowed by the vastness of the city, the pair move through spiralling skies and uncertain waters in the search for connection.
Stay for In This Room, created with an inquisitive, intergenerational groups of Brighton artists, makers and creators, presented for the first time.

Betwixt explores the strange and vivid terrain of being in-between. The dancers oscillate between quiet suspension and restless energy in a piece that reveals the tension, humour and joy that can live inside uncertainty.

The story of Buster Keaton 🎬️
Explore the life of silent film star Buster Keaton, known for his physical comedy and inventive stunts, as told through mime and physical theatre.
Set to one continuous soundtrack, the ensemble brings Keaton's story to life through mime, clowning, lip-sync, puppetry, dance and live onstage lighting control, creating a film-like atmosphere that reimagines mime for a new generation.

Our summer Professional Training classes are officially underway. Thanks to @marie_astrid_mence and @movingwithellyn for their sessions that started the term so brilliantly.
Curated by @liamfrancisdance , this training programme allows dancers to develop their skills, expand their practice and connect with peers.
As Liam says, each teacher 'brings a unique approach to building adaptability and versatility, offering participants the opportunity to expand their movement vocabulary and deepen their artistry.'
