While it is difficult to feel joy at a time like this, when my people in Palestine and Lebanon continue to be attacked, making films at a moment when a process of dehumanization and erasure is at work, is in itself an act of existence. I am proud to announce that my first feature film البارح العين ما نامت YESTERDAY THE EYE DIDN’T SLEEP is officially selected at @festivaldecannes ‘Un Certain Regard’. I am very touched and excited to share the film with the world in a few weeks. Heartfelt and warm hugs to every crew member and cast that gave themselves entirely, I am forever grateful.
