Last week thousands joined us
@ovoarena for what has become the largest ever concert for Palestine in this country. It was an ambitious, complex and challenging project but the result was nothing short of magical.
The energy in the room was extraordinary: a shared space where pain, sorrow and solidarity turned into hope for Gaza’s future, and for all of Palestine.
We could not have done this without the most incredible team:
@annacnolan_ &
@jamessadri – event directors of Together for Palestine
Exec producers
@brianeno @khalid3bdalla Khaled Ziada &
@tracey_seaward advisors
@missmaitland @kemidavies
@esmepeach & Kat: Fortavocca for carrying an extraordinary workload across so many aspects with such quiet brilliance.
Emma
@heavymetalkid , Jon
@jont720 & Library productions team and suppliers for world-class delivery and nothing short of a miracle in achieving the full technical production in just 6 weeks.
@esdevlin – for never being conventional with a stunningly beautiful stage design and the clever curation of such beautiful Palestinian art..
Gideon & George
@bergerstudios +
@benjibmusic – for working so hard to curate an extraordinary musical journey.
@sammyandrews – for the huge lift on contracting, licensing, ticketing and promoter management.
@amirnizarzoabi &
@sam.murrayy_ – for moving interstitial content that carried such weight and grace.
@chooselove – our charity partner ensuring every penny raised reaches trusted Palestinian partners on the ground.
@satellite414 – for the outstanding PR.
@4frankbarat
& hundreds more - this is just the core team
I was proud to produce this event alongside such extraordinary people.
Already, Together for Palestine's received 5⭐️ reviews in The Times, who described it as “a game-changing Live Aid moment”, and coverage across The Guardian, BBC, Evening Standard, British Vogue, NME, GQ, The Independent, MSNBC, Al Jazeera, The New Arab, Billboard, Dazed Middle East, Vogue Arabia, Times of India, The National and so many more.
Clips from the night have already reached tens of millions around the globe.
This was a cultural moment, ambitious, difficult, but above all, hopeful.
