On Tuesday, the 2nd of June, join Hot Chipâs Joe Goddard and Alexis Taylor in conversation with Colleen âCosmoâ Murphy for a special Classic Album Sundays session celebrating 20 years of The Warning by Hot Chip at Hidden Groove in London.
Released in 2006, the bandâs second album marked a turning point, balancing off-kilter electronics with deeply human songwriting, and featuring enduring tracks like âOver and Overâ and âBoy from Schoolâ.
Settle into the Hi-Fi listening bar at Hidden Grooves at 45 Curtain Road, EC2A 3PT , and experience the album in full on vinyl, with an intimate conversation with Joe and Alexis reflecting on its creation and legacy.
Tickets are free but limited and must be reserved in advance via the Classic Album Sundays website. Doors at 18:30 and event start at 19:00. RSVP does not guarantee seating, seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

âBefore the song was released I had a DJ gig playing records before a fourtet live show at Koko. The dj booth was on th balcony by the mixing desk. I played the song fresh from the mixing session at metropolis and it was so cool because you could see the crowd react immediately to the track and it made me feel super excited for its release. I felt like we had made something pretty unique and fun.â - Joe
