FULL LINE UP REVEAL: HOT CHIP DJ SET JUST ADDED 💃
An extra-special DJ set from Hot Chip coming Friday 10th! They join the already-announced Drum and Bass legends Fabio & Grooverider and The Outlook Orchestra, British R&B pioneers Soul II Soul, Nightmares On Wax and Goldie (DJ Set). A BIG day to start us off the weekend, and no overlapping 👌
We've also added songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Konyikeh (Friday), who has shared stages with such artists as Sam Smith, Jalen Ngonda, Tems and Dave, BLACKSABBATHMODE (Sunday), a collaboration between nu-jazz duo BIGHEADMODE (Robbie and Ewan Moore) and the soulful Plumm, which sets out to capture the essence and vitality of Black Sabbath's style through original compositions and unique arrangements, DJs Mani Regan and Vipond over on the Leftfoot Takeover Stage on Friday, and Molly Lou closing the night the same day.
Tickets go back on sale Friday, with a handful of Tier 3 tickets left, so make sure you're online from 10am to snap them up before we move to Tier 4.

We've been behind the scenes making some changes to Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival, and we thought what better way to share than reintroducing ourselves. Starting in 2010, we're an independent, diverse, immersive, vibrant jazz funk & soul festival, celebrating ground-breaking UK music alongside international trailblazers in Birmingham's Moseley Park.
✨ A festival perfect for everyone. We're known for our diverse, wholesome atmosphere. A festival of celebration, shared love, and community.
✨ Our venue is extra special with sloping fields, intimate stage areas and a billing punching well above its weight.
✨ We're entirely independent, one of the few remaining without outside funding. All locals working behind the scenes for the love of music and community.
✨ With two alternating stages, side by side, our programming has been designed to support rising stars and guarantee them an audience.
The community we have built over time is by far our favourite thing to come out of this journey, and we're so excited to have you back in the park this coming year ❤

Mostly Jazz promises to be one of the highlights of the summer and is one of our favourite events of the year. We were lucky enough to support @lukeunabomber 2 years ago in the Off-Piste tent and we’re delighted to be supporting again at the Saturday night afters at the Hare and Hounds this year, alongside our @variations_birmingham friends! 😍

Artist Spotlight: @horse_meat_disco
Initially established in 2004 at The Eagle, an innocuous gay bar in London’s Vauxhall, Horse Meat Disco (HMD) has evolved into a powerful force in queer and club culture as a whole, while staying local to its original home, each and every Sunday. Co‑founded by James Hillard and Jim Stanton, and encompassing residents Severino and Luke Howard, the crew continue to maintain not only the weekly Sunday party, but a number of residencies in cities across the world, alongside a kaleidoscope of club appearances, festival dates and specially curated mixes.
Taking inspiration from a diverse, counter‑cultural history of clubs and DJs, as well as from the sprawling, ever‑expanding musical collections of its resident crew, the sound of HMD is impossible to place.
Nonetheless, their style is undeniable, as is a popper‑scented air of sheer authenticity which has helped propel the group to international fame. Rooted in hedonism, rhythm, freedom and emotion, a Horse Meat Disco set reinforces everything invigorating about disco, as comfortable as shattering old‑school mirror ball cliches as basking in their light.
Their last set, back in 2023, was loud and proud, and we're ready to go all over again! See you Saturday…

Making some incredible moves with their new album release this week, 'A Great Day in Newcastle', we have Knat's, a quintet led by two lifelong best mates from Newcastle Upon Tyne. Stan Woodward (Bass) and King David-Ike Elechi (Drums), alongside their younger sidekick and virtuoso Trumpeter, Ferg Kilsby, make Geordie Jazz, with sophisticated arrangements, strong melodies and danceable grooves.
'A Great Day in Newcastle' is a strong record rooted in the North East, pulling together jazz and poetry. Produced by @emperorgreep , the record deserves a few spins due to its powerful arrangements and layered tracks.

With less than 70 days to go, we've now opened our Volunteer Programme for both Stewards & Bar teams.
It's simple, work two 7-hour shifts across the weekend (either AM or PM on the days of your choice) and get the weekend FREE. Our application process is a little different this year to guarantee a fair process for Volunteering.
Here's how to apply:

✨ Fill it out with all the relevant details.
✨ You'll receive confirmation, along with a one-time link to purchase.
✨ Once purchased, closer to the festival, you will receive details of where to go and what to do come festival weekend. Please keep an eye on emails for this one.
✨ Once the festival is over, we'll refund the full weekend ticket.
There are a limited number of slots for this year, and we know a fair few of you are interested, so make sure to fill out your details asap, as these slots will go quickly.
