And just like that, my second album ‘How To Be Human’, is out now. Little word vomit while I try not to cry…
I left a very big piece of me on this project, going through grief and heartbreak at the same time really re wired my brain chemistry, and I noticed when people try and give uplifting messages about getting through the hard times they never really go into detail about how they got to the end of the tunnel or even what the tunnel looked like, so I REALLY wanted to do that with this album and document the trenches of processing your emotions.
It’s very honest and it’s very vulnerable (perhaps too vulnerable with the voice memos of me crying) but I truly believe art should cost us something so the fact that I’m so nervous putting this out means it’s gonna hopefully resonate with you all.

I PERFORMED AT THE BAFTAS LAST NIGHTTTTTT AND CELEB TRAITORS WONNNNNN!!! does this technically mean i’m a bafta winner now? what a lovely evening, im so lucky that i get to do this as a job and even luckier that i decided to go on a little side quest and film a reality tv show that would end up further changing my life!! im so grateful!! i also wore a shorter skirt!!!! it’s fun experimenting and not being so strict with only wearing more masc outfits, i felt quite pretty teheheheheh !! i als met martin lewis money saving expert (i have to say it in full every time lol) so my mum was very happy… and congratulations @chattyman such a deserved win and i loved spending almost a month lying with you and jonathan. thank you again @bafta 🤍
5 days in osaka consisted of going to universal studios, minoh falls, lots of shopping and great food… just got home and japan owes me nothing i had the best 2 weeks ever !!! bucket list trip ticked OFFF❤️🔥
i’ve been in japan for the last 10 days!!! first leg of the trip we went to tokyo and the second leg we spent 4 days in kyoto and stayed at this gorgeous traditional ryokan… a reset we definitely needed, jet lag is still kicking our bums our bodies refuse to adjust to the time difference it’s so odd!! here’s a little dump of our time in kyoto to help clear out my camera roll 🥸

I SOLD OUT BRIXTON O2 ACADEMY…
I remember my sister took me to see my first ever concert there to watch tori kelly, and she said to me ‘that’ll be you one day’ and I said how much I’d love to sell it out. Anyone who knows me will tell you I always said If I could sell out Brixton anything else in my career is a plus. And we’ve done it. WHAT THE HECK. I can’t stop crying today hahaha. I’ve been doing this professionally now for about 6 years and it can be really scary having a ‘hit’ really early on in your career especially in such a algorithmic based industry now, so to have my audience continue to grow since 2020 is something I NEVER take for granted. I’m truly so grateful for you all for sticking by me for so long.
Thank you so much to my amazing band and crew for being incredible as always, you constantly made me feel so safe and loved the whole time. I love playing with you guys.
