We’d like to express our gratitude for another milestone campout this year! What has come increasingly into focus is that Gradient has become a much larger creative community. So many talented & inspired individuals contributed time, energy & ideas - collectively dedicating thousands of hours of labor to make it happen. The mentorship, co-learning, and friendships formed throughout this process is awe inspiring. Thank you for showing up, supporting, and shaping Gradient into what it continues to become 💜 🏜️ OUR HOSTS Bear & Family For your partnership, friendship, and for welcoming us to your beautiful space. Your trust in us and our community is a true gift. 🔊 @mobius_acoustics The sound was the best many of us have ever experienced. The Mobius sub speakers were not only deployed, but designed & built within our community and largely assembled by @dose_444 at our home shop @terraformlab 🎧We also want to thank our talented neighbor @musicisthereason for his help configuring and tuning sound during much of the event. John is one of the most dedicated and mindful A1’s in SoCal and Gradient happens in his back yard. Mobius’s Crew and John tune every single track moment by moment to ensure the sound is as high a quality as possible. 🌀TEAM - Build, Plan, Logistics, and much more. Gradient Campout will be presenting Midwest based live hardware hypnotist @lonefront Ross Hutchens, aka Lonefront, is a multi-instrumentalist originally from San Francisco. He began with the violin at an early age and earned a bachelor’s degree in music with a focus on Jazz Guitar. He eventually shifted toward audio engineering, transitioning into performing live sets using hardware and modular synthesizers as Lonefront. After years spent on the dancefloor, he debuted his Live PA at DIY events in Minneapolis before being invited to perform at parties such as The Great Beyond, Communion, System, and Even Furthur. In 2021, Lonefront stepped onto the national stage by opening for DVS1 in Los Angeles at the first Wall of Sound event in the US. He later released his debut EP “Pronoia” on Enemy Records as well as performing each year at The Great Beyond festival. In 2023, he launched his own label, Uncoiled, to focus on releasing hypnotic and driving techno composed with the Colundi Sequence. Tracks from the label have been supported by notable artists including DVS1, Setaoc Mass, D. Dan, Lydo, Eric Cloutier, and DJ Nobu, who featured the track “6” in his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. Following the launch of Uncoiled, Lonefront toured the US and made his European debut with a performance at Säule. Lonefront’s music breaks the mold of idiomatic techno while refining the genre’s quintessential elements into performances that lean heavily on improvisation and hard-hitting grooves. His musicality shines through measured application of polyrhythm and command of the frequency spectrum, setting new standards for live set performances.

Gradient is excited to present Midwest techno campout champion Niki Kitz aka @kiiiiiiiiiiisu Niki Kitz is an artist known for experimenting with sound. From her “Dream Swamp” live modular performances to high-energy DJ sets that blur the lines between techno, trance, and forest psy, her sound is fresh, raw, and unmistakably her own. Now based in Minneapolis, MN, Niki’s roots trace back to Wisconsin, where she played a key role in hosting a variety of events, campouts, and DIY parties that shaped her journey and connection to the underground music world. With a strong preference for playing outdoors, Niki continues to craft sets that resonate in natural spaces, where her music merges with the environment for a truly immersive experience.
