This month I had the awesome opportunity to partake in the @eticket_builders “A Builders life for me” community challenge! 🗝️ The Jail Scene 🦴 Here's my submission for @eticket_builders Pirates of the Caribbean Collab! I was really excited to work on this one, so I put in my full effort! I did a looping animation of the full scene, with all 6 pirates present. I don't think they're getting out anytime soon... “ The Piggy Pirate “ My entry in @eticket_builders "A Builder's Life For Me!" community challenge. My long-awaited turn has finally come! In this work, the expression of fire was a key point. I tried to represent the flames using a combination of clear parts and lighting. Thank you for this fantastic project. 🔥The Inferno!🔥Scene from the Disneyland Pirates of the Caribbean ride and my contribution to the @eticket_builders challenge! Thanks @eticket_builders for having me in the challenge! This was a super fun build!

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN - THE PIRATE BAND 🏴‍☠️ 🎶 🪗🫏 - My contribution to @eticket_builders A Builders Life For Me Community Challenge. - Pirates is one of the great loves of my life,(After a certain Haunted attraction, of course) so to see this community event grow and get to leave my own mark on the project has been such a delight. It really has been an amazing journey, expanding my own abilities. I’m so exceptionally proud of our fledgling little community of artists we have and I cannot wait to see what’s next as we approach the final scenes of this tremendous adventure! Keep a weather eye mateys, there be squalls ahead! ☠️

🐈 Old Bill enjoys a spot o’ rum on the dock as he tries to convince these cats to join him. They’re having none of it or perhaps they want him to leave so they get it all to themselves! 🐈🍾🍹 My part in @eticket_builders ‘ community challenge “A Builder’s Life for Me” is “The Pirate with Cats” 🐈 also known as Old Bill! He was first created in the 1970s for WDW’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Even though their ride came first in 1969, Disneyland’s Pirates later got Old Bill as well. I thought it fitting that as the resident WDW AFOL, I got assigned Old Bill! 🏴‍☠️ While he is typically seen with two cats, for my build I decided to fill it up with the many types of minifigure scale #LegoCats created in recent years. For the cats screeching at Old Bill, the roles had to go to the ever grumpy Crookshanks. I had a little extra room on the dock so I added an entrepreneurial cat stomping grapes 🍇 into wine just for fun! 🍷Also, I know Capt. Jack Sparrow is not in this part in the ride, but with all that rum scattered about, I couldn’t not include him spying to steal some! 🍹 One final note: as many of you know, I typically photograph minifigs and builds in the Disney theme parks. By sheer coincidence, my posting day (April 24th) happened to fall during my voyage with Disney Cruise Line to the Bahamas on the Disney Fantasy 🚢!! I figured, why not bring my Pirates of the Caribbean build to the actual Caribbean!? 😎 Today these are the tropical shores of Disney’s Lookout Cay, but it very well may be an island once pillaged and plundered upon by salty old pirates and their rum seeking cats! 🐈‍⬛ 🐈🏴‍☠️🐈🐈‍⬛ Make sure you check back with @eticket_builders every day for the next scene in this community effort to recreate the whole Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in Lego! #legopirates #legopiratesofthecaribbean #legocaptainjacksparrow #disneylandpiratesofthecaribbean
