THE C-LISTERS - Started working on an upcoming project for this summer recently and, naturally, began with some characters I want to integrate into the build. Had a blast delving into some characters that I’ve always wanted to do and some I never got the chance until now to explore more. I’ve really got a soft spot for these lesser-known members of the Marvel rogues gallery and I can’t wait to show you more in the coming weeks! From Left to Right is: Leap-Frog, Hypno-Hustler, The Wizard, Hammerhead, Stilt-Man, and Paste-Pot-Pete AKA Trapster. More villains to come, mostly of a higher caliber, so stay tuned!

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN - THE PIRATE BAND 🏴‍☠️ 🎶 🪗🫏 - My contribution to @eticket_builders A Builders Life For Me Community Challenge. - Pirates is one of the great loves of my life,(After a certain Haunted attraction, of course) so to see this community event grow and get to leave my own mark on the project has been such a delight. It really has been an amazing journey, expanding my own abilities. I’m so exceptionally proud of our fledgling little community of artists we have and I cannot wait to see what’s next as we approach the final scenes of this tremendous adventure! Keep a weather eye mateys, there be squalls ahead! ☠️

SPECTRALBRICKS PRESENTS: THE BATMAN - My @dergcustoms torso came and I wanted to show it off in true SpectralBricks fashion with a line up set in the seedy back alleys of Gotham in the days of the Great Depression. I love my Batman’s world with some grime and a tasteful hint of the supernatural in it and I’m so excited to have a figure for him that helps reflect that view. - Batman Riddler Joker Penguin Mr. Freeze Clayface Solomon Grundy Scarecrow Let me know that you think or if you’d like to see other villain from this world!

FANTASTIC FOUR (UPGRADED) - Finally got my hands on the @chipchipcustom upgrade set thanks to @tom.the.builder and thought I’d try my hand at making a thorough review. First off, WOW this makes such an incredible difference to these figures. Quality is absolute perfection and it blends seamlessly into the existing parts and just makes it feel like how these were always supposed to be. I wasn’t sure if I was going to use the custom Sue head, only because I was pretty attached to my Sue head I had been using for some time (2011 Elizabeth Swann). That said I gave it a shot and seeing it all together it just felt right. I also love the detail that all 4 of them have a visible communicator on their wrists. Johnnys head I didn’t jive with quite as much. At the same time, the fire effect side of the head looks pretty dang good, not just on my flame on version figure, but even for some other figures, like another fiery Johnny from Marvel. 😉 (Gotta say though, a red variant of the head would go crazyyy) For the Thing, I’m still a little undecided on which version I’m going to use more. Of course the Chipchip version’s printing is bang on and he looks even better with a neck piece to bolster him up a bit. The knockoff version, still with the chipchip legs, definitely is more imposing and bulkier, but it still doesn’t feel quite right and the hands are just a shade too dark. Soon Spider-Man finds himself on a veritable Island of Doctor Moreau when Warren initiates a jailbreak, setting loose every genetically engineered creature and geared up goon after our friendly-neighbor hero. Now, before he can make it to his date with Gwen Stacy, he’ll have to face the likes of GRIZZLY, TOMBSTONE, THE RHINO, SHOCKER, and THE SPOT and escape Rykers with his life! SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN - My official entry into @eticket_builders Remember When? Challenge, I knew as soon as it would decided we would be showcasing our favorite park attractions from days gone by, I knew I had to do this as one of my favorite scenes from the immortal treasure that was THE GREAT MOVIE RIDE. While I truly do love Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (I’ve ridden both versions) GMR was in a league touched by seldom few other attractions, especially after Walt’s days. It’s where myself and I imagine many other children fell in love with the movies and gave us a glimpse of a Hollywood that perhaps never was, but always could be. IT’S A WONDERFUL SHOP - This season, my submission to @eticket_builders Christmas Challenge proved quite, well, challenging. I’ve never actually been to any of the Disney Parks during the Christmas Season so I had very little to personally draw from. One other failed attempt and I was ready to throw in the towel, but then I remembered a little shop that always caught my eye, way back in the Muppets section of Hollywood Studios. Sadly, like everything else in that part of the part, the shop was a victim of neglect and after years of inconsistent open hours, it closed earlier this year along with the rest of the Muppet courtyard attractions.
