I can’t believe it’s already two weeks since @solvangbrickandbuilds , but the memories feel so fresh still!🥹
This is a trophy I built for my sculpture class, and I want to use it to commemorate fantastic builders exemplifying the full use of the SNOT technique in their builds! It will be a traveling championship trophy, and the first event was Solvang!
The winner for the Solvang Brick and Build Best Snot award was @arctrooperstudios for their incredible Starkiller Base! I usually like to try to give trophies to less known builders, but the skill and technique was too hard to ignore! Every single plate of this massive display had snot incorporated into it, as details of snow, open electronics, and ships, and it was so clearly a labor of love (I should have gotten more detail shots). Fantastic work!
So far, I only plan to move the trophy where I go, and the next event for sure is Brickslopes in Utah. But I’ll update as soon as I can.
