Getting married was the perfect excuse to dine with loved ones at our favorite restaurants all weekend long. Case in point: Feasting with family and friends @taiwanesespecialties (our personal favorite in Elmhurst!), and celebrating the birthdays of @baohaus and @alittledanish with cake from @barbetebk (that required some assembly😉).

Today would have been Indy’s 14th birthday. Even though we got to spend 13 years and 364 days with him, it still doesn’t feel like quite enough. I’ll miss receiving texts and birthday cards from Indy (via mom). I keep waiting for the pitter patter of his paws on the tile floors, and how he wagged his entire body whenever I came home to California. I loved how he tolerated my hugs and kisses (he was very much a shiba) in exchange for gratuitous belly rubs. His excitement for a game of fetch was always infectious. I doubt I’ll ever meet another dog so fiercely loyal. He lived up to his name fully — independent and headstrong — but was also so incredibly loving and sweet.
Thank you for being a part of our family, Indy. We’ll be sure to bring you plenty of chicken, blueberry-flavored greenies, and balls when we see you again.

Already planning my next trip to Greece. So grateful to be there with my oldest, closest friends @jeneriguel and @triciapro116 , plus @jeffsown and Alfie, celebrating little Evie. 👶🏻 Same time next year? 😉

The best trip. 🇮🇹 Milan —> 🇫🇷 Paris —> 🇩🇰 Copenhagen. New Year’s with @ampjulchao and @lorenzofranchetti . Followed by @noemiecarrant and @wayne.s.cheng ’s wedding. And finally, a little less than a week in Copenhagen with @alittledanish .
We consumed our body weight in pasta, pastries, beef tartare, and wine. We strolled. We went to museums. We made another pilgrimage to @pho_bom . We visited a castle. We got engaged (!). And we can’t wait to go back. 🥰
