Getting married was the perfect excuse to dine with loved ones at our favorite restaurants all weekend long. Case in point: Feasting with family and friends @taiwanesespecialties (our personal favorite in Elmhurst!), and celebrating the birthdays of @baohaus and @alittledanish with cake from @barbetebk (that required some assembly😉).

This woman is so humble, hard working, kind, and the sweetest person I know. I just had to ask her to be, “my forever boo.” And I know for a fact we will never go hungry for the rest of our lives😘 I’m the luckiest guy alive
Also, thank you @alittledanish for being our videographer, amazing tour guide, and friend.
The best trip. 🇮🇹 Milan —> 🇫🇷 Paris —> 🇩🇰 Copenhagen. New Year’s with @ampjulchao and @lorenzofranchetti . Followed by @noemiecarrant and @wayne.s.cheng ’s wedding. And finally, a little less than a week in Copenhagen with @alittledanish .
We consumed our body weight in pasta, pastries, beef tartare, and wine. We strolled. We went to museums. We made another pilgrimage to @pho_bom . We visited a castle. We got engaged (!). And we can’t wait to go back. 🥰

Hey Doc,
Today, along with so many others, is heartbreaking. There aren’t many people that have shared, inspired, and touched with so much joy in one lifetime as much as you Doc. We always said “Doc loves life to the fullest.” And you always did all the way to the end. So SO many children that have now grown into adults are better human beings because you had the kindness and patience to mentor us. Everyone you touched is a better human being for it.
Doc was the type of teacher who would wake up at 5am to teach a bow technique class open to all everyday of the week and then teach until 10pm
Doc would give lessons at any given hour to anyone- and practice at any given hour also
Doc would never turn down students of any age- he never discriminated. His 5 year old cello students were just as important as his college grads.
Most of all, Doc’s heart was huge. He gave everyone everything he had always and never asked for anything in return. May we always try to be a little like Doc
See you soon Doc!
