The director’s cut of the music video we made for @thisisarizonamusic won twice at @thewebbyawards ! The #Webbys are known as the Oscars of the Internet, and considered the web’s highest honor. We were awarded for Best Art Direction and Best Art & Experimental, winning as honoree in both categories. Watch the film at the link in our bio.

We won three @clioawards for our @thisisarizonamusic music video! We won gold for best direction and production design, plus bronze for best over five minutes. Congrats to our own @owenbrownyc for beating videos by @kendricklamar and @sza to win the biggest directing award of the year.

We won three Clio awards for our @thisisarizonamusic music video! We won gold for best direction and production design, plus bronze for best over five minutes. Our own @owenbrownyc beat videos by artists like Kendrick and SZA to win best director. The Clios only gave out one gold this year for all of music in that category, and it was for our music video. We were also the only project to win two golds. That means everyone on the team is now a 3x Clio winner. Thank you our AZ production team at @reelbros.tv , especially @thephotojohn , @colbysassano and @schreerluck . There were so many times where we were literally stuck — like in the sand in that riverbed — that could have derailed the project, but you always managed to save the day. Thank you to @nah.dos for helping bring every aspect of this project to life behind the scenes from day one. Every artist needs a manager like you. Thank you to our DP @jacensievers for bringing on the best camera team, navigating an insane shoot day and for finding us lenses with the most insane lens flares. Last year, we created the biggest piece of temporary land art in Arizona history to make a music video for A R I Z O N A, a major band with over a billion streams. Now, we’ve released a new director’s cut of the project by CTRL5 founder @owenbrownyc . It’s the first time in music video history that land art has been created for a music video. Plus, the only land art in Arizona that’s bigger than the one we created for this project is James Turrell’s Roden Crater. To bring it to life, we forged a partnership with the Navajo Nation government, who helped us find our location in a dry Arizona riverbed. Plus, we brought in one of the world’s best land artists to create the colossal 300 feet wide land art, @jimdenevan . For the finale, we built a first of its kind lighting rig the size of a football field to pair the land art with a 1000 feet tall light show. We wanted to create a piece of art for the song “Moving On” that could help anyone struggling to move on from a difficult time. So to make a beacon of hope, we designed a beacon of light.
