This past Fall, I had the opportunity to create the live visuals for @thisisarizonamusic ās LIVE FOR A NIGHT tour. @dlabuguen asked if I was interested and little did he know Iāve been wanting to do something like this for years. (Thank you for trusting me!!!)
I had the honor of working back and forth with our lighting director @carlos_kats who is so insanely talented at what he does. The first thing I told Carlos was how important it was to me for the visuals to match the lighting and he helped me big time throughout the entire process.

Last year we worked with @nationalparkservice to place three ten feet tall mirrored sculptures in several Arizona national parks to create visuals for @thisisarizonamusic .
I brought the concept to one of my favorite photographers @abipolinsky and together we designed the three columns, which represent the three members of the band and were inspired by the #UtahMonolith. Just like the land art we created for this album campaign, theyāre also made out of triangles. Each column has three mirrored sides.
After we built them, @abipolinsky , @reelbros.tv , @chomik , the band and I drove across the state with them in tow in an 18 wheeler, stopping to shoot in places like Cathedral Rock National Park in Sedona and The Teepees in Petrified Forest National Park. At each place, we had to carry them in by hand.
We used the footage from these shoots to create everything from album art to music videos, including the new directorās cut that came out a few weeks ago.
