Excited to share our first brand film for longtime client Source for Sports. They may be a national retailer, but they’re deeply ingrained in the communities they serve across the country. This spot was built around the simple idea that when it comes to gear, they don’t just fit teams, they fit towns. A love letter to sports towns across Canada. One of the things we love most at Conflict is being trusted to lead our clients’ biggest and most complex projects. The ones where there are lots of stakeholders, lots of eyeballs, lots of expectations, and lots of pressure. When the team at Manulife Wealth & Asset Management asked us to help them re-launch their investment and retirement brand in the US as a new dual brand, Manulife John Hancock, we knew it was that kind of project.  For most things in life, success usually comes down to the strength of the partners you team up with. The same is true when it comes to investing and retirement planning. This campaign is all about reinforcing to advisors, retirement plan sponsors, and investors that no one gets what it takes to be a great partner quite like Manulife John Hancock. Because it’s one thing to pay lip service to partnership, but something else entirely to be rooted in it. New work! 📚✏️ @prodigygame is a true Canadian EdTech success story, and the #1 math platform for teachers across North America. So we were pretty excited when they asked us to help launch a new back-to-school campaign. Aimed at teachers, the work highlights how Prodigy can complement classroom curriculum and provide support at a time when educators are being asked to do more with less. And if you’ve got kids of a certain age, you probably already know how much they LOVE using Prodigy. Huge thanks to @impossiblestudiosinc and @studiofeather for helping bring it all to life. First up is a film called “Math Rap”. It involves math and rapping. Clever, right? Sorry if we forgot to tag you!

Our first new campaign for @moxies since their return to Conflict (welcome back!) is all about turning fans into co-creators. Tastemakers is an invite-only tasting event where real guests get to try new dishes before they become official seasonal menu items. Their input then helps decide what makes the cut. It’s a way for the brand to tap into culture, not just culinary trends, and our first event was so fun! In a super crowded category, we’re building new fans by actually listening to them. A little less top-down, a little more table-side. 🍽️👌🏻✨ Cheers to our clients for trusting the process on this one and to our PR partners at @pompandcirc for helping bring the vision to life. As the official @raptors audio streaming partner, @siriusxmcanada is all about hyping up fans on their daily commute and on their way to the game. That’s why we partnered with the most hyped up member of the team, @95theraptor to show how even he gets in the zone for game day with SiriusXM. When you’re downtown, keep an eye out for the Raptor wearing a giant pair of custom headphones blasting @kardinalo . He’s just on his way to work. “Homeless for the Holidays” is a new campaign we developed for our @fredvictorcentre client to bring urgent attention to the homeless crisis Toronto has been facing for years now. Currently, emergency shelters are operating at 98% which is a 14% increase from last year. If you’re like me and you often wonder “what can I do?” the answer is simple: donate even a few dollars to Fred Victor. If this city can host Taylor Swift for 6 sold out nights it can certainly find a little extra cash to make sure its neighbours and fellow Torontonians don’t spend Christmas in the cold. Last May, Toronto City Council declared homelessness in the city an emergency. A problem this big can often feel impossible to solve. But for 130 years @fredvictorcentre has been helping Toronto’s unhoused rebuild their lives with services including housing solutions and advocacy, healthcare support, food access, employment training, and more. Rather than visually showcase the problem (which is hard to miss in our parks, streets and underpasses) we wanted to focus on the success stories. With these stories, we aim to introduce more people to Fred Victor, inspire hope, and some generosity. If you’re like us, live in Toronto and often feel unsure of how to make a difference, consider making a donation. They need your help now more than ever.
